About Niagara Corporation
The heritage of Niagara Corporation traces back several generations to the pioneering work of the Ghassem Mokhtari and Rafat families in the bakery and confectionery industries.
Historical records indicate that the family's baking traditions date back centuries in Tabriz, where they became known for their craftsmanship and innovation in traditional bread production, including the development of advanced Sangak bakery techniques.
In 1871, the family established one of the region's earliest modern confectionery concepts under the name Borgee, introducing innovative baking and confectionery methods inspired by developments in Europe, the Ottoman Empire, and Russia.
The Borgee legacy continued until 1949, when the business evolved into Niagara, which continued to serve as a foundation for future innovation and development.
Beginning in 2019, Niagara embarked on a modernization initiative that combined traditional craftsmanship with advanced technologies and next-generation scientific research.
Today, Niagara Corporation is committed to developing technologies that improve food production, support farmers and communities, create new employment opportunities, and pioneer the future of intelligent robotic systems.
The development of the INOFAN Robot Series represents the realization of this long-term vision—combining heritage, science, and innovation to create the next generation of smart food technologies and automated service systems.
